1970 Mustang Boss 302

This project was commissioned by a customer who is a classic car collector. It is a 50 mm replica made in 750 yellow and white gold, to be worn as a pendant and for tabletop display. A 85 mm die cast model was submitted as reference. It was 3D scanned and the meshes imported into Rhino. This was the starting point to model the car and extract data to create a NURBS replica. Ninety percent of the model was control point modeled and consisted of 13 parts.

All parts were printed and direct cast. Cleaned, assembled, and detailed by goldsmith Patrick Conway. He added the wipers, steering wheel, door handles and exhaust system.
